“ Stopped by this morning with the family on the way up to see meemaw in Boulder City! I must say, this was the most delightful stop of our trip. Drinks tasted like sweet nectar from heaven above and the treats were finger lickin good!! I may add that the customer service was above and beyond. My son was suffering from a bit of car sickness and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and non judgmental when he asked for a third roll of toilet paper. We will be going out of our way to stop at matador 89 again whenever the opportunity arises! Thank you thank you thank you!!! ”
“ Driving through Flagstaff we came upon Matador Coffee and decided to stop. The Barista was amazing. She was exceptionally helpful on suggesting different coffee options to drink, told us about the different flavors of beans they had for sale and what they tasted like, and make the entire experience there very pleasant. We ended up getting the Raspberry Truffle Coffees and they were a delicious treat. The Coffee flavor was subtle, with the raspberry flavoring adding a nice complement to the coffee. We ended up buying a bag of their Whiskey Coffee beans to try at home and would suggest to anyone to try this flavor. It has a sweet whiskey flavor mixed with a medium roast bean quality. If you are traveling through or staying in Flagstaff, this is the place to stop at. Added bonus, the bathrooms were spotless. ”
“ We stopped here on our way home during a long road trip and glad we did. Sam was the best barista I've ever had. He made great suggestions for each of us. After choosing the thin mint specialty drink I mentioned my favorite ingredients in a coffee. With my permission he turned that thin mint into a customized drink he called the Samoan. Delicious hot treat on a cold blustery day in March ”

I say this because my past visit (or 2 visits) I finished my large drink before leaving the parking area Each time I’m in flagstaff, I stop by this exact location. The baristas are always friendly and open to helping you choose a drink or even suggest their favorite drink.. which I love ! I’m a little confused as to why I see many negative reviews. I have never had a bad experience. I been there during the early hours and afternoon. I tried the outdoor service and inside just cuz (lol).. point is, it’s a great place.. for anyone who had a bad experience, please try going again and for those who have not .. you definitely need to try this place :) ”
